What if I’ve never danced?

We love beginners. That’s why we always provide a separate class for complete beginners and we watch over you to make sure that you are not left out. Our experienced dancers are happy to dance with beginners. Just say, “I'm a beginner.”

What if I don't have a partner?

You don’t need a partner because our events encourage everyone to dance with everyone. We actually encourage you not to stick only to your partner. You will get to know people better that way.

What if my partner doesn’t dance?

You are welcome to bring someone who feels they can not dance, but we can not guarantee they will not venture out onto the floor without warning.

Do I need dance shoes?

Dancers often choose dance shoes with suede (leather) bottoms that give them just the right amount of grip and the right amount of slipperiness, but you can dance in any shoe that is comfortable. During inclement weather please bring dry shoes to wear.

Is the parking safe?

The parking lot is well lit and just across the street from the hall.

How can I stay safe from COVID-19 or flu?

There is some risk of transmission of illness when dancing. Please show your respect by staying home if you have a cough, chills or body aches.
